During Tuesday’s First Four action between New Orleans and Mount. St. Mary’s, a pair of New Orleans teammates got into a heated scuffle on the court that carried over into a timeout.

Travin Thibodeaux appeared to be upset with Christavious Gill after a three-second violation. Walking to the bench, Gill responded with a shove before Thibodeaux seemingly grabbed his neck. Members of the New Orleans coaching staff immediately intervened.
Mount St. Mary’s would go on to win the game 67-66 to earn an entry into the main bracket of the NCAA tournament. They will be the 16-seed in the East region and go up against Villanova in their next game.
