Abu Dhabi: Frenchman Elias Boudegzdame defeated Mexican Masio ‘Lobo’ Fullen by triangle submission in the featherweight title bout of the BRAVE Combat Federation’s MMA Fighting Championship at the IPIC Arena.


“I am very happy at this moment, I came in tonight thinking that I would be the featherweight champion and I am the champion now. Thank you to all the fans, my team and everyone at Brave for the support. I’m ready to fight whoever anywhere, anytime” said a jubilant Boudegzdame.


In the main card, Jordanian Abdul Selwady defeated Brazilian Michael Diega-Scheck via TKO in the second round.


German Alan Omer defeated USA’s Robbie Peralta via a rear naked choke in the third round while Jarrah Al Silawi of Jordan defeated Daniele Scatizzi of Italy via a unanimous decision. Philippine’s Jomar Pa-ac defeated India’s Atif Hawk by a split decision in a very close and tactical fight. Next fight on the card was between the Moroccan Ottman Azaitar and Charlie Leary from England, Ottman won via KO in the first round.


In the undercard the first fight on the card was between Rafael Souza of Brazil vs Serg Jayson of Philippines. Serg won by a unanimous decision after going the distance in an exciting and energetic fight.


Egypt’s Ahmad Amir defeated the Argentinian Kevin Kolodobsky via a rear naked choke in the second round. Abu Dhabi based Brazilian Fabiano Silva defeated Ramadan Mohammad of Egypt via TKO in the first round.
